The national airline "Uzbekistan Airways" on July 27 for the first time in the history of domestic civil aviation will make a direct non-stop flight from Tashkent to New York on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. On the eve of this event on May 18, the first flight to Dreamliner on the route Tashkent-Riga-New York-Tashkent will be performed.
The operation of the "dream liners" in the direction of Tashkent-Riga-New York-Tashkent will allow passengers of the National Airline to fly to Riga for 20-30 minutes with a high level of comfort, and to New York for an hour faster. The first flight on this route will be performed by the crew consisting of the Deputy Director of the NAC Flight Complex Sergey Kim, the LMO pilot-instructor I. Zak and the commander of the Flight crew of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Asadjon Tursunov.
The implementation of transatlantic non-stop flights from Tashkent to New York is a new era in the development of the National Air Company of Uzbekistan. Pilots of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner of the NAC Flight Complex are carefully preparing for this significant and long-awaited event. After completing training in London and Shanghai, they are currently undergoing ground training - training sessions are being conducted with pilots and navigators of the airline, video materials, necessary documentation, etc. are being studied.
The time of direct flights to New York will be 12 hours, and back to Tashkent - 11 hours. At the same time, the National Airline will keep flights to the USA via Riga at a frequency of 1 times a week.
It should be noted that the National Air Company "Uzbekistan Airways" commenced commercial operation of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from September last year. Today, the "dream liners" successfully fly to Dubai, Delhi, Amritsar, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Seoul, Frankfurt, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
